Description
This is just a test of a 3D engine I wrote from scratch. It's based on Cartesian coordinates (x,y,z) and actually. freaking. worksI'm still working on perspective.
You can bet on seeing this engine being used for something XD
Again, thanks to Wikipedia. [link]

so you made your way out of the maze of matrix transformations?

ah this is looking awsome dude. keep up the great work.,
really makes me wanna go back and do something with my 3d engine.

Nice work man.
I tried to make something like this before but stopped because I didn't want my brain to melt

Thank you
Yeah, the few times I've tried to make one of these, I had given up because I was so frustrated XD

Very interesting. Nothing I would look into enough to understand but it is quite impressive. Just love how everything you do is somewhat interactive.

Thanks
You know, I don't have a good enough combination of patience and skill to animate too often, so I do what I can to make things interesting XD

Well it's far from actualy 3D engine. Just some vectors with perspective...

They're not vectors. They're just points in 3D space being projected in a 2D plane with perspective. I though just it being able to plot points in 3D space would make it a 3D engine.

Well what is vecotr graphics? It's a way to represent graphical data with points and their connections. Tough usualy there are one mroe thing. Collections of connections which form poligons.
You have 8 points there and 12 connections among them. I think for actual 3D you should have poligons and their drawing method... Tough it's hard to achive fast 3D on flash. It needs much of calculations...

yes....pratice makes perfect, yet nobodys perfect, so why practice!? lol i luv that saying.
but yes, its not that im not good at it, im just very lazy, and i get what i want out of a movie just by motion tweening, to each his own i guess.

Thanks!
Practice makes perfect. Look up a few tutorials or something. I'm sure you'll get better

Wow... I can't imagine how hard it must've been to make such a script... anyways, kudos to you! Now, excuse me while I wonder how such a script is possible to make.

Always nice to see new 3d mathemagicians at work! Cool that there are still people who do it from scratch so to speak. I remember those days fondly

It actually isn't that hard to make if you understand a bit of the math behind it. You can check out this article on Wikipedia [link]
Has quite a bit of useful info

3d math is simple, just take the two and add one more The formulas are there for the taking, so. The hardest thing is to realize that it isn't that hard I think. Sure took me a while to figure out

Yeah, same here. I used to think 3D is a monster or something XD I mean, I'm still struggling a bit, but it's not so hard when you start getting into the 3D mindset kind of thing
