Description
OKAY SO. . . Here is my application for which I was solicited politely asked by ~Satouberri to join.Name: Jadja
Age: 20
Race: Hybrid
Height: 5’6”
City: Arcania
Job: Inter-city messenger and caretaker to an elderly mage.
Likes: Running, jumping, physical activity, sweet foods
Dislikes: SPICY OR BITTER FOODS, having nothing to do, reading/writing
Personality: Jadja is quite smart for how she grew up, but at the same time she’s a bit of a spazz and a ditz. A little contradictory, yes, but it works for her. She’s quick witted when it comes to actions and is a quick learner, but she still doesn’t know or understand a lot of things about big city life so it tends to confuse her and make her look a little dim sometimes. She hates it when people think that she is slow though when she’s not. When confronted with things she doesn’t know, and wants to she tends to get eager and hyper, same with when she is getting ready for a journey.
When it comes to other people Jadja is kind and patient with them. She lacks the wit to use people, but she knows how t comfort them when they need it or talk them up and build their confidence. She would also never ever spill someone’s secrets that they trust to her no matter how much someone tries to force her. Nothing short of magic would get her to talk, and even then she’d fight as hard as she could. She also trusts people that she befriends so deeply that her loyalty to them is unquestionable.
Because of this if you betray Jadja, she will hold a grudge for a long time and maybe even forever. Though cases of this have been rare, she still has yet to forgive anyone that betrayed her loyalties.
History: Jadja was born to a rather small tribe in Ashbriar, a very backwards and independent clan. As such she grew up in nature, and didn’t have any form of written language. Ever since she was little she had natural magic, though not the shamanic magic of her people. Hints of the stuff that the mages of Arcania knew, though no one really understood this and she was often found strange.
It wasn’t until she was 14 when a traveling mage passed by and was allowed to keep camp near their tribe for safety that Jadja learned about her magic in more detail. He told her that it was a magic more like his, but it would take study to learn how to use it with more skill. The mage stayed with the tribe for about a week, and the whole time she stayed around him as much as she could to learn anything and everything she could. Impressed with her skill and eagerness to learn despite the bigoted tribe she came from he offered for her to come along with him.
Without a second thought Jadja left with the mage, and while her tribe was sad to see her go no one tried to stop her. She traveled with this mage around the kingdom for a few years. His name was Iskist, and he was a kind and patient older man. He wanted to travel around the kingdom before retiring to his home in Arcania. While traveling with him Jadja learned how to read and write (though she still isn’t good at it) as well as how to use her magic. But there was only so much that he could teach her.
By the time that he brought her to Arcania she was 16, and fairly more learned then she once was. Though she did have a hard time letting go of her tribal nature, obvious by her choice of dress. Once in Arcadia with the man she considers her master, he set her up for some extra classes in the Academy. Though she had trouble with some things, due to her inability to read properly, Jadja proved that she was worthy of the kindness shown to her. Most of her years have been spent between helping her master, and studying (which he sometimes helped her learn). The fox girl proved to be skilled with support magic, as well as wind magic. But she would never be qualified to be a full mage.
That didn’t bother her any. Jadja met many interesting people in the academy, made herself more skilled, and had a very wonderful place to live.
These days she’s out of the academy and works in the city as an intercity messenger, through freelance. Still living with her aging master, Jadja takes care of Iskist when she is home and uses her considerable speed (and magic to make her faster) in order to make her trips as fast as possible. Though Iskist does have others to help him when she isn’t there, it doesn’t matter to her. If something happens while she is gone she’d never forgive herself.
Other: Jadja is a Corsac fox hybrid.
Her magic is mostly support magic (buffs and debuffs*) and wind magic.
She is naturally a fast and limber person, but her magic can increase that skill.
She still can’t read and write past a child’s level.
She can fight in barehanded combat or with a knife, such is basic combat training of her tribe.
She is well traveled and knows the best ways to get to most places in the Kingdom.
Due to the fact that she can't read that well she mostly just matches letters on her directions to letters around town. . .
*Basically she can use her magic to increase or decrease another person (or her own) physical abilities.
IF YOU WANT TO ROLEPLAY WITH ME I CAN DO SO ON SKYPE, MSN, OR AIM. I can roleplay in notes and stuff. . . but I would rather talk on a messenger.

I loved making her outfit XD even if she's living in Arcania I wanted it to look like she was some tribal bumpkin from Ashbriar~ So I went with a Middle Eastern/Indian look for her.
Reading Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic is also partially to blame.
And of course of course~ I read your profile for your character~ I can RP in MSN so if you want you can note me your MSN name.

You did a wonderful job with the outfit, really! >U< And rofl, I'm influenced by Magi too, recently. It's taking all my powers not to dress everyone up in that Aladdin-puffy-pants. ;U;
And I'll note you my MSN!

But puffy pans are fuuuun XD
And I'm glad you think I did good with it and read Magi too XD I have a friend that wants to read it (she's a Shoutaphile) but she hasn't yet. So I've been the only one that's reading it around where I live.
I just wish they'd translate a little faster. The fan art is tooorementing me.
