Nah its coloured pencil. And I drew the piece so long ago I don't really remember how long it took me. But my average on drawing hasn't really changed so I would guess it took me about a half an hour to an hour.

Well during the dark trounament after Zeru, Hiei spent his time retraining to control the Kokuryu. At some point during his training he the tattoo appeared and the Kokuryu comes from the tattoo. His ultimate control of the Kokuryu comes when he Bui forced the Kokuryu back on Hiei, he absorbed it into his own being. So in truth Hiei is the Kokuryu and the attack itself is an extention of himself.
