Description
Here we have the Dark Crafter, a supposed member of the Dark Matter Clan and the main villian of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. It's motives are simple: Stealing the colors of Dreamland to create new worlds.
It may be bad, but it didn't seem to be very dangerous or harmful. After the plan failed it simply run away like a coward. And it is also underrated, few people care about it.
I can't help but to feel sympathy for underappreciated characters like Dark Crafter, Necrodeus, Miracle Matter and Yin Yarn. Maybe becouse my first final boss was Dark Nebula, lord of all jokes in the fandom.
Anyways, I see Dark Crafter as a male Dark Matter specimen so I will use male pronouns.

Sketches explanation:
There are many expressions for Dark Crafter. They all consist in the mouth-eye and the sunglasses changing form. I see the sunglasses as some sort of eyebrows which some times acts as an eye.
(The sunglasses crying for example)
Then we have one of Dark Crafter's Grab hands doing the Dedede pose. (Curse you fingers, why are you so hard to draw?)
And another Grab hand that is running away from the skull gang: "It's the weirdo that stole our theme song, get him!"
We have a little Dark Crafter sleeping? Or maybe he just have the eye closed?
Crafter is also having a discussion with Elline. (In my headcanon they did that all the time, but that didn't mean they hated each other... Not before the "Incident" at least)
He meets Zero and Nightmare: "Hi there cousin!" Zero: "Who are you again?" Nightmare: "Would you look at that? He basically stole my style!"
Then he befriend the Dark Swordsman which he admired for its motives: Make friends.
Headcanon time: When he first arrived in this galaxy he was just a black blob of dark matter, and since he was one himself, disguised his single eye behind the sunglasses in fear of being slaughtered if he was recognized as one of the dark tribe.
If you are not careful you will end up with a Kirby Rocket in your eye. Remember this next time.
Crafter looking at his clock. (Which is similiar to something we know and love) "Oh no! My cake will burn!"
And lastly we have the poor Crafter crying... Maybe because no one loves him... No, wait, is because the cake burned... Better luck next time Crafter...
(If you are wondering why I chose "etch a sketch" for the title here is your answer. I thought it sounded nice and fitting for my reference sketchs)
