nice trick for skin tones... I'm always fidgeting with this. Skin is so complex because really it's a fine mixture of all colors, but it's at such a fine mix on fair skin that... well, you gotta be careful.... So yeah, I have trouble with that and how not to make the shadows so blue that it makes the skin look funny... although from computer to computer you always get something different... I've also never used the lock box.... I'll have to try that out...
another way to get that really plastic, metallic look is to create a layer on top of everything just for whites so you can get that realy nice high gloss look really quickly when the dodge tool just isn't gettin' it... just a suggestion. Nice tutorial.
