yes, yes, and yes. i used plain paper, and you can ask your jeweler to make you silver point. think of it like graphite for your rechargeable pencil.

um... um... that hurts...

i know most artists paint or draw one narrow minded thing, like flowers and birds, and houses, and cars, and cartoon characters (guilty of that...).

i'm studying art professionaly. that means i have to know how to paint still-lifes, because that's where i learn how to paint texture, like silk, cashmere, glass, tin...

i draw many portraits, so i learn how to draw and paint! people as realistically as possible, to make sure their face is not crooked to one side...

i paint portraits because i must know the medium i'm working with, and because painting a portrait adds a whole different layer of complexity to drawing one...

i paint landscapes because i want to learn how to, because painting outside is very different from painting indoors, because i can express my feelings about a place i like...

i draw and paint compositions, like "the wait" and "bier garten," because this is where i say to the world what i like, what interests me. this is where i make my artistic statement. and this is where i demostrate my skills as an artist.

i pull everything together in my compositions, how to paint and draw people, how to draw and paint texture, how to draw and paint indoors or outdoors...


zeldis basically said that she's getting a funny feeling that i'm pulling a fast one on you guys. zeldis has a funny feeling that it's several different artists who's work is on these pages, not mine.
