Barry Allen of Earth-53.

Here Barry has only just started to come of age, being one of the youngest heroes active. At a young age his mum was killed and it left a permanent impact on Barry's life. He always excelled at science but wanted to help the world, thus he mixed these talents and became a forensic scientist. However one fateful night whilst in a room full of crime solving chemicals, a particle accelerator malfunctioned and some lightning from that struck Barry, rendering him comatose. However when he awoke in Star Labs, he gained some of the most spectacular powers of any metahuman struck by the accelerator that night. Deciding to put his new gift to good use, with the help of his loyal team at Star Labs Barry became the Flash, whose name was inspired by a Golden Age hero with similar powers. The Flash now protect Central City and sometimes the entire world!
