Barry Allen was born to loving parents and lead an average upbringing, until one fateful night, a man in yellow too quick to identify killed his mother and his father was blamed for the death even though Barry always knew his father was innocent. He spent the rest of his childhood brought up by Joe West. He became a forensic until one night during the particle accelerator incident, he was put into a coma for months until he awoke with powers. Barry with the help of his loyal team at Star Labs used his abilities for good, becoming a crime fighter and came up with the alias of "the Flash". Barry was now a metahuman but the only known meta that wasn't out for himself as most other people's power corrupted them. First metahumans were only in Central City, but over time particles from the particle accelerator incident gradually affected other individuals along with other circumstances. The Flash was the first known metahuman to fight for the good of mankind, and was given a "licence" by the government and A.R.G.U.S to use his power without government regulation.
