in the american version of Digimon The Movie ( which is a combination of the two Digimon Adventure 01 movies and the first Digimon Adventure 02 movie, with about 40 min. edited out) Willias, the american digidestined received a digi-egg at the same time that Tai and Kari recived their digi-egg(which later revealed a HUGE agumon the size of a car, which later turned into a HUGE greymon the size of american godzilla)any way, Willias got a pair of twin digimon, he calls them Terriermon and Kokomon.....of which is half true...the light pink glob with three horns is Kokomon( in Tamers it's dark brown)...the light green blob is Gummymon...not Terriermon. Willias wants more digimon (two ain't enough?) so he makes a digi-egg on the internet...the digi-egg is attacked by a virus and transformed into a digimon/virus named Tsumemon, then he turns to Kuramon (called Kare-ra-mon in the film however) then it begins to eat the internet..shoping malls...baseball..phones....and the U.S.and A's nuke program... then he turns into infermon by skipping his champion state....then he turns into Diaboromon... then he gets killed..and the virus tracks down kokomon and transforms him into wedigomon....but Willias still keeps calling him Kokomon...through out the entire movie... anywhoo by this time Gummymon is now Terriermon.. and then Terriermon digivovles to Gargomon and beats on Wedigomon (still called Kokomon) Gargomon looses...another fight...Terriermon digivolves to gargomon and Wedigomon digivolves to Antelemon and then to Kerpymon...still called Kokomon...then he gets blasted by Magnadramon(called Egg-ag-na-mon for soem reason) and Seraphemon...blah blah blah he dies and turns into Konomon....then dies....(still called Kokomon...)....
the main thing is this....
on the cover of my VHS copy of Digimon The Movie.....there is Terriermon in his normal look (despite a slight unicorn look to his horn) and a very strange looking Lopmon....a White Furred Lopmon with Darkgreen markings.....imagine my surprise when I watched Tamers and saw a Brown and pink Lopmon instead of the Dark green and white one from the movie....maybe it's a different one all together....

the stage is a box with an opening thats covered with a spike strip for some reason player 1 always appears in the box and the others appear on the top of the box

if u want to make a stage in stage builder that is completely inclosed where none of the charecters will spawn on the top, line the top with spikes and the game will have them respawn inside the box

I believe what happened is that Americans designed the American Cover and screwed it up. This isn't the cover in the Japanese version.

right.. but i did have a digimon card that had a white version of lopmon on it....unfortunatly i've since lost it.

I've wondered this exact same thing for a while now. I personally just decided to see the Brown/Pink Lopmon as female, and the Green/White one as male.

interesting is that lopmon is actually a boy in the season 3
when they dubbed it into english they messed up because his way of speek was kinda girly and antiquitated.

actually the original digimon the movie is actually 3 movies that were combined into one.
the first part of the movie with the flashbacks and giant greymon was the actual Digimon The Movie. the second half is really the second movie it's called Children's War Game. it was partially inspired by the movie War Games, hence the title. the third part is the first Digimon Adventure 02 movie. the little intermission between the parts showing the original digidestined is a little different in the original movie. as they are all kid napped by the virus and slowly turned back into children. they cut out alot and added alot to make the 3 movies exist as one big movie. but as far as terriermon and lopmon go they seem to halve quite a bit og charecter design changes, i mena take a look on the vhs cover of the movie.

Oh, I know the original movies. I'm from Germany, and they fortunately showed the Japanese version here. I just had no idea they made such changes in the American version. That surprises me. And I don't like it.

i grew up on the american version and it suits me just fin because of all the years i've watched it over and over and over again. i could probably quote it line for line. i want to see the japanese version too though. i like to find a little good in everything i see. what gets me mad is that i can't get the soundtrack for the first season of digimon anywhere.
i can only find the japanese soundtrack to the series. which is compleltely different. the music for the american one was reaally good. since i don't own any episodes of the anime series the movie is the only one that has any parts of the soundtrack from the american show.
there is one change in digimon the movie (american) which i really liked. the japanese version has terriermon's brother die for good, as in his data was so corrupted by a virus he could'nt return to primary village as an egg. the english one ended with davis telling willis that "Digimon never really die." and lopmon's egg is later seen washing up on a beach near willis while he's making a phone call. they then take a clip from part of the movie where kokomon is swaying back and forth and edit it too look like he is dancing and singing to what sounds like "ooom bop" with willies saying "he's tone deaf.."

really? I swear that I had a lopmon card with that coloring. I think that it acually looks cooler like that. makes lopmon and terriermon look more like twins. and helps seperate the tamer and adventure terriermon lopmon twins.

the studio (Toei) wasn't too thrilled with the error in the English advertising at all. and Fox realized their mistake but ran with it to keep, like you said, the two Lpmon as different entities, although it was already confirmed that there can be more than one of each species of Digimon.
