in the american version of Digimon The Movie ( which is a combination of the two Digimon Adventure 01 movies and the first Digimon Adventure 02 movie, with about 40 min. edited out) Willias, the american digidestined received a digi-egg at the same time that Tai and Kari recived their digi-egg(which later revealed a HUGE agumon the size of a car, which later turned into a HUGE greymon the size of american godzilla)any way, Willias got a pair of twin digimon, he calls them Terriermon and Kokomon.....of which is half true...the light pink glob with three horns is Kokomon( in Tamers it's dark brown)...the light green blob is Gummymon...not Terriermon. Willias wants more digimon (two ain't enough?) so he makes a digi-egg on the internet...the digi-egg is attacked by a virus and transformed into a digimon/virus named Tsumemon, then he turns to Kuramon (called Kare-ra-mon in the film however) then it begins to eat the internet..shoping malls...baseball..phones....and the U.S.and A's nuke program... then he turns into infermon by skipping his champion state....then he turns into Diaboromon... then he gets killed..and the virus tracks down kokomon and transforms him into wedigomon....but Willias still keeps calling him Kokomon...through out the entire movie... anywhoo by this time Gummymon is now Terriermon.. and then Terriermon digivovles to Gargomon and beats on Wedigomon (still called Kokomon) Gargomon looses...another fight...Terriermon digivolves to gargomon and Wedigomon digivolves to Antelemon and then to Kerpymon...still called Kokomon...then he gets blasted by Magnadramon(called Egg-ag-na-mon for soem reason) and Seraphemon...blah blah blah he dies and turns into Konomon....then dies....(still called Kokomon...)....

on the cover of my VHS copy of Digimon The Movie.....there is Terriermon in his normal look (despite a slight unicorn look to his horn) and a very strange looking Lopmon....a White Furred Lopmon with Darkgreen markings.....imagine my surprise when I watched Tamers and saw a Brown and pink Lopmon instead of the Dark green and white one from the movie....maybe it's a different one all together....

I have heard it. the music form the english dub though, the tunes not the theme song exactly, but the various soundtracks played to the tune of the theme. I grew up most of my life without any friends (recently i found out the cause of this is a mental illness I have called Ausberbers, which is in the same group as autisim.) i grew up watching digimon. and i found escape, the digital world to me was a place to escape to, where you could find a digital monster as a friend, and battle evil. I live through music, and the more i watch something the more i love it, unlike most people who grow out of things, and then mock people who are interesting in those things like "u like digimon? bleh I grew out of that show when i was 10" i hate people like that. I have heard the japanese version and I love japanese music better than american, but the digimon season 1 american OST, the instremental beats to the theme song, the sad tunes played during axnous moments, thats what i've been looking for. any idea whre i could find the american ost? i have the soundtrack for the american movie (i downloaded the mp3s off the net) and i have video clips of the season 1 and season 3 openings (which are both ausome if you grew up with it) but i don't have any of the digimon music. u know the same music is played through out the first three seasons of digimon? but season 4 is horrible, though i've never really watched it, the digital world in 4 is more like the one in 1. season 4 does not even ahve digimon partners. and season 5 is owned by disney, and i picked up Digimon World Data Squad the other day.....it says fight and train to becoem the ultimate Digimon Master....wtf...it stinks that there have only been digimon tamers now instead of digidestines. the new agumon sucks.

I tried to do that too... still do... but when I tried to make one (like takato) around season 2, I began hearing pokemon sounds.. it was creepy.

heh, season 1 barely changed the charecters names at all, and they did'nt really change them. i can remember one person calling matt , yamatto. the english names in the dub were more like nicknames.
all though i liked Kari better than Hikari, because most americans call hikari "High-car-e" instead of "he-car-a" unlike the other series the name changes in the first one were perfect. it was like the kids gave them selves english nicknames. i know digimon are not real, but my only concept of friends was the behaveor of the digidestines. in life i only have one wish, but i know this wish can never happen.
I wish that my friends now, had been my friends growing up. heres somethign kewl, alot of the digidestines where either gloves or wristbands, or perhaps the drawers have trouble with wrists.
before i learned how to record vhs tapes my cousin would record digimon episode....on a audio recorder.
she recored the entire digimon movie once!

I have 2 vhs copies of volume 2 of the first season
and 4 vhs tapes of episodes i recored. one has a few episodes from season 3, another is the elecmon episode, the angemon epidode, and a fe episodes form season 2. i have another of season 3 somewhere, and one with an episode of seson 1 in it.
the reaosn i ahve 2 copies is that i bout the first one ad good wills. last week i came up upon a digimon video that was in a disney-ish plastic box, so i bought it, when i got home i found out i already had that tape.
I've been trying to find all of the Digidestiend figureines, i used to have a few of them now i only ahve Kari and Takato. know where i can find a set that ahs them all?

frontier had no digimon partners...and i think thats what the whole concept of the digimon francise should be. friendship, and over comeing obsticles to win by working together. thats kinda why i like rika, she seemed to evolve as a charecter. how about a digimon series thats about an adult digidestined? a soon to be 20 year old girl who has no female friends, no social skills, parents that dislike her, and a 10 year old brother who has some mental problems but purpously acts stupid to claim all of the attention and happiness of her family? i guess that would be me.
it would be so wonderful if my broken laptop spat out a digi egg whiel i was trying to fix it, or if my old desktop spat out one....oooh perhaps the digimon inside would carry data from my computer, then that digimon would know all about me! i think i'll write a story about it. i've been wantign to have a digimon all my life. so if i write a story about it, i can live my dream through my charecters! woot...maybe i could even get it published, all i'd have to do is come up with something simular to digimon but at the same time mentioning it (like this girl grew up on digimon) ooh i could call it a tribute to digimon..
hah, that would be fun. my story would not be like the digimon series of past though. just me and my digimon. hey i could call it MY Digital Adventures..nah..

Well, I do agree, but I thought the theme of friendship was in it. With Kouji, Takuya etc. being brought into the Digital world, meeting and such. And then there was Neemon and Bokomon whom were their friends. But thats just my opinion XD. And she did, she sort of broke out of her shell (After her little adventure in Digital world with Kazu, Kenta and wait for it...RYO!! *Ryuki fangirl squeal* XDDD) Sorry, I adore that couple XD.

i only saw up to the episode when guilmon turned into wargrowlmon. kewl, my username is valforwing if i get the chance i'll check it out. oh did u read "My Digital Friend" it's a story i'm writeing about digimon, well it's about the digimon i created when i was growing up. it's not really a digimon story, because the creature in the egg is not a digimon but something simular, the main charecter though is a digimon fan and thinks that it's a digimon anyway. it will kinda be like the first part of Digimon The movie (and the main charecter will make some referances of this) so this virtual monster is not a digimon but it is quite simular with an
egg-baby-training-rookie-champion-ultimate-mega-???? stages, different names though. perhaps it's because this creature is a mixture of everything important in this girls life, her manga her memory cards, her poetry. the main part of this creature was taken from a large charmander doll that the girl treated as a digimon. heh i actually have had that doll for at least 10 years.
i think i may link this story up with my other stories.

Yeah well, I think a person's Digimon reflects who they are, and matches up with them (Like in the original, Piyomon kept telling Sora she loved her, but Sora kept getting embarrased, but we know later that she is a very loving person) etc.

my first fanfics were writen in spiral tablets, i would buy them acording to how many pages they had, and boy would i get pissed if someone took a page out...i'd be like hey! that cost me $4 it's suposed to be 700 pages! lets seee....i filled up 2 70 page notebooks, and 5 or 6 700 page big notebooks,...all i know is that i gave up half way through the black notebook and started writeing on the computer. to think that my fanfiction started as a crappy yugioh fic with no explanation or begining (the computer version was either 28 mgb or 58 mgb long then there were about 3 20 mgb stories after that.) the tale grew as i did, a mixture of rurouni kenshin and yugioh made it a swordsfighting fanfiction. like my main charecter is the desendant of kenshin. she's paired up with Yami, my cousin laura wrote a simular story about Sora and Seto (yes this is the same Sora from digimon...only she's desendant of Misao Makimachi) set in the same universe as mine. 2 stories, 2 authors, 2 main charecters, 2 different points of view....but...the creepy thing is..our plots were almost exactly the same,... like i'd make a suggestion for a villan and the next tim we'd meet we'd read each others works and they would be almost exactly the same.

my fanfiction included digimon, pokemon, okay,,every anime i ever watched ended up in it in some way (and thats alot!)
the rurouni kenshin part, because it existed in a different era, served as a backstory on the main charecters bloodlines
such as Seto kaiba was decendant of both Aoshi Shinomori, and was also kin to Sanosuke Sagara. so seto could weild sano's Zanbato like a kunai blade. Yugi's full name in my fanfic was Yugikoh Myojin Mouto, so he was kin to Yahiko Myojin and practiced Kamiya Kassien style.....i'll tell you more later my dad wants me off my computer...(he's always on his though)

yep. my new version of the story erases the yugioh charecters with simular but differnet ones.
like seto kaiba is now Seto Kairagon (kai-rah-gon)(true name Seto Sagara Shinomori, because he adopted.) he's a rich super smart geek who creates an online game called SAPRA Online which is simular to The World from the dothack series, but the game loads your soul into the game not your mind, so there are lots of people roaming the game who's bodies have died or they were uploaded there while their bodies go through surgery or stuff that would make you go into shock and die if you were actually in that body.
Mokumaru Kairagon (moe-ku-mar-rue)seto's little brother, is a kid of many talents, such as a a master theif,a drug lord, a drill sargent, a bartender, a bouncer, a explosions expert, and has a drivers lisence for a shopping cart.
Yukigoh Myomotou(you-key-go)(me-oh-moe-toe)
is a pint sized kendo champ who wears a different cosplay outfit everyday.
Teanzu Yukishiro (tay-awn-zu)(you-key-she-row)is a geisha of sorts who knows almost every kind of dance there is.
Sora Makimachi (mah-key-mah-chi) an orphaned orange haired ninja girl who is rescued by Kairagon and lives with him.
Joseph "Katsuya" Costanostro (cat-sue-yah)(kos-tah-nos-trow)
a dirt poor american biker from a dangerous mafioso family. he lashes out angerly to anyone who calls him by the name joey, he demands to be called "katsuya". he and Kairagon are most hated rivals in everything they do, cards/fights/beer runs you name it these two can't ever beat each other, every battle is always a tie. early in the series his drunkard father Wheeler Joe Costanostro drinks himself to death leaveing Katsuya to live under a bridge, when Kairagon learns this he is embarised that his rival is homeless. he lets katsu stay with him for a while but in the end Katsu steals $100,000 and builds a mansion 2x the size of Kairagon's.....completely out of cardboard boxes(fridge mircowave etc...etc..) he also can smoke any type of drug and survive with only being high.
Ryulan (a.k.a Pandor Magunsheion) the soul of a high magcien prince from ancient egypt trapped inside one of eight magical items which have various effects. after Yukigoh found what he thought to be a cosplay wand-which turned out to be one of the 8 items, he released the soul of the prince. existing as only a floating translucent spirit with no memories of his name or anything, he acompanied Yukigoh for several years as a brother of sorts. till one day they came in contact with another of the items, which gave him a body of his own, and some bits of his memories. it was at this tim that he met the main charecter of the story.
Silver (Setsuki battou) a young 16 year old homeless girl who also had some memories missing, all though 16 in flesh, not 16 in soul. her true name is Setsuki Battou, she was born and fought in WWII as a hittokiri(assasine) her 13 year old brother Inari became possesed one day and slautered her whole family, and wounding her so badly her soul it's self shattered, she lost the most important memories and thus became nothing but a shell. inari was just about to lay the killing blow when a large purple storm apeared out of no where and wisked her away. this storm turned out to be a magical spell casted 1,000s of years ago by a newbie magicien named Pandor. and thus she ended up in anceint egypt and became pandor's bodyguard. they fell deeply inlove, then she contacted an illness unknown to anyone. so pandor sent her to the future praying that a cure existed there. when he did so, he accidentally erased her memoried again,and turned ehr from a 28 year old to a 5 year old. she was then adopted by the Shinomori family, who later died in an accident when she was 10, instead of being sent to the same orphanage as her foster brothers, she found herself alone. at this time she met Sora and seven other runaway children who had either ran away from their homes or from their orphanages. then at 16 she met pandor again though they did not recognise each other. they still fell in love all over again.
before Setsuki's soul was shattered she was deeply in love with a man named Ashiteru Kobayashi, who had to leave her to fight a great evil, but was unable to return to her once he had defeated it. she gave birth to his son not to long after, his name was Sephmaru. at 9 sephmaru witnessed the slaughter of his family but survivied, and swore to seek out vengense on Inari and find the father that he had never met, to tell him of his mother's apparent death. for five years he scoured japan trying to find Inari and kill him, his hate of inari became his very being. then upon hearing of a hint of inari in Okinawa, he built a raft and began to travel tot he island...as he did a purple storm over took him (the same once that pandor used to send setsuki to the future..this is the backlash of it) and he awoke on an a beach somewhere in Florida. Sephmaru is very cold through out his tale (i'll tell you later cus it's differect than setsuki's)

Wow O_O Sounds brill! As I answer, forgive me, I havnt seen Yugioh in AGES, so Im not great with all characters, but this sounds great.
Seto - Now THAT sounds cool! I love the .hack series, but I can see Seto doing something like that.
Mokumaru - Wow! Thats sounds completely different to me from the real one, but interesting. I can definitely see him as a Master thief! XD
Yukigoh - XD Ive got an urge to ask my friend to dress up her Yugi doll now xD ..Ive got SUCH a cool picture in my head now (Of Yugi as a kendo champ XD)

Katsuya - Sounds like Ka-chan has gotten even rougher since Yu-Gi-Oh xD Cardboard boxes and such..O_O Thats impressive, yet funny XD But I feel sorry for him; over the dad thing, and his homelessness *hugs Ka-chan* *Ka-chan knocks me off, yelling "Dont call me Ka-chan!!"* XDD
Ryulan - I like the "meet the main character later in the story" thing alot! ^^ Its funny what Yugi-chan thought it was XD But that is clever actually!
Silver - ..that is brilliant. (Im sorry, I havnt got alot of time left to write DX) I do love the sound of that!! I would so read it! I love that tragic "watches family die, then sets out to avenge them* for some reason (Im a cruel person...XD) But I really like the sound of it so far! ^-^

mokumaru was a name i came up with off the top of my head, originally he had a better name but my hard drive failed and i lost all my backstory notes with it...i think i added "maru" just because of the main charecter of the OTHER story is named Sephmaru (these two stories are connected greatly)
Kaiba Corp has been replaced with Shin-Ragon Electric Comunications. Shinragon is like a combination of CCcorp from .hack, Kaiba Corp, Industrial Illusions, and the infamous Shin-Ra Electric Power Company from Final Fantasy VII.
yukigoh was named Yahigo(yah-he-go) originally but i changed after i worded it a few times
Katsuya is not really rougher, he's a little bit more like his season zero self, with a little bit of Largo from the american manga series Megatokyo (also a web comic) mixed in for added insanity, a pinch of Ginji Kusanagi from Tuxido Gin for some biker boxer fun. Katsuya's also got enough dope growing in his cardboard bathtub to make cheech and chong faint.
another charecter i forgot to mention is Sakura Tao-chan and Maiya Shiranui
Maiya is a combination of Mai Valintine and Mai Shinranui from Fatal Fury's anime trilogy, she like sora is also a ninja but while sora is more of a Fighting Ninja, Maiya is more of a Stealth Ninja. she has her own home but normally crashes a Katsuya's.
Sakura Tao-chan looks like Ren's sister from Shaman King (only with blue hair and pink irisis) she's a chinese martial artist who uses a watoju sword like enishi yukishiro from rurouni kenshin. she lives at katsuya's for a while too....
in fact for a while there was a bit of a love triangle going on but in the end katsuya chose maiya.
ryulan is once again a name i had to just come up with sicne i lost my liner notes....DX
but i like his true name a whole lot. just like in yugioh ryulan changes his apperance drastically when he regains his memories. at first he looks like a floating transparent chibi with purple eyes and spiky black red and blond hair, then when he get his body he looks like a skrawny version of Cloud Strife with blond spikey hair with red highlights and a black ponytail. he is this form for much of the story.
at one point in the story Setsuki confronts her brother, Inari, and a huge battle erupts all over the city aganst him and his followers . it is during this battle that Teanzu,Maiya, Sakura and Sora all killed while defending the town aganst Inari. Ryulan has his left arm split open from hand to shoulder when Inari tried to land a killing blow on Setsuki. Inari lost the battle yet he escaped unharmed, yet the damage had already been done. Katsuya went suicidal and sent to a mad house far away , seto just abandoned everything and vanished, Yukigoh traveled overseas to inform Sakura's family, and while still recovering from their injuries Ryulan remembered a conversation he had with setsuki about the strange sword that her brother carried...any one who touches the Ikazuchibattou will die. Ryulan realized that when inari had split open his arm he had inflicted upon him a death curse. needless to say ryulan died.

this picture is about a strange image seen on the cover of Digimon The Movie's VHS cover. it's a white and dark green version of Lopmon. Lopmon is not seen in the American Digimon the Movie though, so why is this green and white lopmon on the cover..also the posters show Joe, sora and the other older digidestintes fighting but that scene was cut out of the film.

I was just talking about this yesterday! I was actually showing it to my parents (and yes, they understand, Lopmon is my favorite Digimon so they know all about him/her by now) and I came to this conclusion: Whoever drew the movie cover was NOT the official artist. Also notice that Terriermon's face looks squished and, like you said, his horn has the "unicorn stripes" on it, plus all the kids look VERY annoyed, not determined or whatever they were going for. I'm confused since the American video came with a poster that had Lopmon on it, and he was drawn correctly there... And, there was really a white Lopmon card? Hm, I want to see that, but I don't get why they would do that when all his other forms are pink or brown...

Yeah, you can't be a real Digimon fan without knowing that. I think it like, showed them all disappearing and being kidnapped by Wendigomon or something (can't remember exactly what it was right now), and so of course that gets cut out... I haven't actually seen the Japanese version but from what I've read about it it makes WAY more sense...
