They were created for the United States Armed Forces but most Centurions that saw active combat were donated to the USA’s allies and client states. After active conflicts cooled down many Centurions fell into the hands of private police companies.

The Heikegani was the Japanese Defence Force’s premier urban assault mecha. It reached memetic status after video of one goomba stomping an armoured car off the side of a parking garage were spread online.

Paratek became a leader in international military supply on the back of the Centaur. It was relatively cheap while being remarkably easy to operate and maintain for a mecha, allowing even the poorest pmc to field multiple Centaurs.

Land Air Space Hybrid Vehicles were commissioned from FutureSoon by the Earth Defence Force during the second Occult War. They hoped that the Voidwing technology applied to a mecha would allow them to match large Fungi organisms in versatility. They were incorrect.

Large scale mecha were largely obsoleted by A-tanks as subspatial technology advanced. However, when it came to countering the Star Spawn the sheer mass of a Mech was the superior option. Paired with advancements spurred by reverse engineering Fungi technology and Zone artefacts the Earth Defence and Governance Organisation were able to make semi-biological mecha nearly matching most Spawn in scale.

The successes of the biomechanical engineering in Xenotitan development inspired Tsukamoto Cyber Research to create human derived autonomous biomecha, the Extermination Warriors. While intended for combat in different fronts than against the Star Spawn their powerful psychic abilities made them mobile psychic shields against the Star Spawn’s maddening intrusive thoughts. Unfortunately the Warriors were prone to rampancy. In their disastrous mission in Tokyo Bay against Ythogtha resulted in them going completely rogue and millions of human casualties from their psychic attacks.

The Xenotitan Hybrids took the base of Earthgov’s previous Xenotitan models but incorporated what they could from the remains of Ancient Powers left in the wake of their battles. While objectively the most powerful mecha ever devised by human minds, they were biologically unstable and prone to mutation. And eating their pilots.
