Description
One of the Fungi from Yuggoth.I like to think they aren't just a hive mind or communal organism but a full on intelligent ecosystem. The winged crabs are nothing more than spores for vast fields of thinking fungi.

I'm pretty sure I've asked this on another platform, but I don't think I ever got an answer, so i'm gonna ask it here; is this supposed to look like he's wearing a cape that billowing dramatically, or is it just a coincidence?

Pure coincidence. I wanted to show how the wing extends so I drew it stretching one out.

do the Mi-Go still use a sapient species's brain for making the victims explore the Universe?.

They sure do! Although the original and dominant biomass of the Mi-go is fungal, they include countless minds from across the universe.

interesting, also considering these creatures can't be recorded on photographic film, what kind of matter are the Mi-Go actually made of?.

I have no idea what kind of matter is visible to the naked eye (and special emulsion possesses) but not a normal 1920s photo.

i believe the Mi-Go are made of a form of exotic matter that manifests in organic form but can coexist in this Universe, that is why they don't show up old film, modern cameras may give less subtle glimpses to a Mi-Go spore captured on it.
also if a Mi-Go spore is killed, it disintegrates, leaving absolutely no trace.
