Geiko in Gion. Now, I'm sure, she was real geisha!
(a girl from my other picture looked like a geiko, but I think she was not). She was incredibly gorgous, the most beautiful Japanese woman, I've ever seen! 
Also, I could talk to her for a short while, she was so kind and sweet!

Ahh, Mamechiho. Amazing that you got to meet her, she's my total idol, even though she quit to go to Uni.
You should check her out on flickr. [link] Many of the local Kyoto photographers have photographed her through all the stages of her career, and there's even one that keeps in contact with her now.

a to czyli rozumiem z rozmowy z myloko że gejsze są raczej rzadkością i jak już są to są znane w okolicy tak? wybacz mi moją ignorancję

Gejsze nie tylko są rzadkością, ale też osoby postronne raczej nie mają możliwości porozmawiania z nimi, nie mówiąc o jakimś regularnym spotkaniu. To jest tylko dla sprawdzonej i bogatej klienteli. Tym bardziej cieszę się, że ja mogłam przynajmniej przez chwilę z nią pogadać

Now that she's a geiko she is no longer the most popular. Popularity is ranked by either maiko only or geiko only. Right now the most popular maiko in her district is Kosen and the most popular geiko is Mamesuzu
