Description
The TV show Queen of Swords was a fun female-Zorro adventure set in 1817, about 100 years before the Wonder Woman movie. It was all too short-lived at only one season of 22 episodes. For more info on the theme song, episode videos, and possible DVDs, see the following page.Related content

While I had access to the show once upon a time when this was first run on TV, I only manged to catch three episodes. It was a very inspired retelling of the Zorro story. The actress did a very respectable job with the material she had to work with.
This kind of makes me want to do a period piece in a similar vein.

I"m so glad you have a similar perspective to mine. The show was not perfect, but the actress did her best, and whether it was her or the stuntwoman in the fight scenes, I always enjoyed her battles against superior numbers. Don't forget, the face mask image above links over to a page that has a link to some episodes that can still be seen on YouTube, if you're so inclined. *smiles*

She definitely is all that and more! Don't forget there are some episodes on YouTube as of the last time I looked. Definitely worth checking out at the link in my "Behind the Mask" post listed above with the masked face image.
I'm not saying the show was perfect, but watching her acrobatically fight out from being outnumbered and jumping onto her horse for a daring escape is pretty thrilling! *smiles*
