Disclaimer: Season 2 is NOT out yet, but this is one Ask I just couldnt help but want to answer right away lol
Normally, the longest natural life span a Trasncender can live is no more than about 200 years of age before they're bodies under go atomic decay and from there, they pass away shortly after. In Rare cases some Trasncenders have achieved a way of prolonging they're life spans to a moderate degree with the aid of atomic rejuvenation procedures to assist them in slowing they're decay, but at the exchange of slowly losing they're memories, and even sanity over the course of time, which for them has marked such procedures as a taboo among they're people. In Rice's case however, he (as far as he knows) is the first and only Trasncender in existence who has managed to both outlive and preserve his youth longer than any other being of his species, including that of even Embryians who in the rarest of cases have achieved lifespans of up to 400-500 years. The cause of his unnaturally extended lfie span came from his pact with the Aetherian race, of which, in exchange for his title as champion, all prisoners of the Aetherian Coliseum would be set free and returned to they're home-worlds. As part of the deal, Rice's body was forcefully fused with an Aetherian teseract, the device used to summon forth beings from all worlds and universes to compete in the games, allowing him to return players back to they're home worlds at the end of every annual competition, "IF" he wins. In turn, Rice's body became locked in stasis, unable to age, grow weak, grow strong, gain weight, lose weight, or even utilize his ability to transcend, all while being bound to the games as a prisoner so long as the Aetherian coliseum existed. After bringing the games to an end with the help of some players that joined him in his quest to end the games, while the destruction of the coliseum brought about his freedom, without the technology of the Aetherians to extract the Teseract from his body, Rice in turn has no way of freeing himself from the stasis, and continues to live so long as his "Aetherium mask" Remains in tact- kind of like a geini in a magic lamp, only... Rice don't grant wishes.
Whether or not he'll be free of the Aetherian curse, only time will tell...

YEH, I noticed that as well-- Dunno if that was a typo or they actually mistook Rice for a girl (even though I clearly stated on his ref, and in all content that he's a "He" )BUT Never the less, Rice "is" indeed 100% male, as you yourself know quite well. lol

In the 'drunkard's' defense, it's a Kilt, not a dress. π: 0 β©: 1
Secondly, you're pretty confident trying to dominate someone who's drunk.
Thirdly, it's MANN UP

Weeeeell, conicdering he spent most of it being forced to compete in matches in a cosmic Roman Coliseum like arena, being struck down, brought back, and having to outlive almost every friend he'd ever met in his life before finally finding freedom, I'd certainly say so.
Its not the fact that he's pretty much almost imortal that's the problem, it's being imortal but not being able to "live" that's the issue. :v
