Description My boy needed his PoCs soooooo might as well get them done now!

------
The Beginning - #3: Looking tough is not as easy as it seems and it takes more practice than one might think. Depict your Felvarg pup attempting to snarl or look menacing at something. Perhaps its a rock or maybe even a small unsuspecting animal.
December Bonus: 5% chance to find a Polar Bear Cub.

“Get out of here, runt!” The older varg swiped the pup’s face with open claws. Barad-Dur fell backwards from the force of the blow, a stinging pain erupting from his cheek. He didn’t get to sit there in a daze for long. The pup scrambled to his feet at the sound of thundering footsteps. The older male snapped at the younger’s flank, only barely missing the skin. Barad-Dur ran as fast as his little legs could carry him. Tears welled in his eyes from the cold air and from the pain fresh wound. The little snot did deserve it; the manner in which he spoke to his elder was highly disrespectful and he should be thankful the brute didn’t maul him right then and there. After deeming himself a safe distance, the pup plopped himself under a tree, pouting. How humiliating. The pack would harass him for this later.

‘A great hunter must first learn to be fierce,’ They told him. Barad-Dur had heard those words and had thought of a brilliant idea. His arrogance got the best of him, obviously.  His waddled his way ever so toughly around the forest. He needed a subject to prey on, someone to scare, and someone to vent his humiliation on. A low croak reached Barad-Dur’s ears. He huffed in annoyance.

‘Shut up’ He thought ‘Im looking for something to smack around you-‘his anger lifted and he stopped. The croak sounded again, same spot, same volume. The pup rolled over onto his paws into his hunting stance. He kept his belly and haunches low, ears alert and searching. The toad wasn’t able to finish a third croak for it had been caught in a sad pair of claws. Barad-Dur miscalculated where he’d land. A hidden ledge behind the bush sent him and the toad rolling. The toad bounced out of the young warrior’s grasp and into a clearing. The toad licked an eye, shifting itself onto its feet and staring blankly at the struggling pup.

“I bet you think this is funny,” Barad-Dur untangled his legs out from under him.”I bet you think you’re tough, that you are so much better and smarter than me!”

    The toad said nothing, understandably

“You’re just a dumb toad, incapable of having any even remotely worthwhile thought”

    Silence

“I could rip you to shreds you know, you smelly, ugly thing!”

The toad’s continued silence infuriated the small dire. Barad-Dur did his loudest, scariest roar in the toads face. He heard other animals shuffle in the bushes, running away from such a manly noise. The toad stayed, unfazed and as ignorant as ever.

“What is wrong with you?!” The dire snapped his jaws shut once again in the toads face, nothing. He rose on his hind legs, stomping the ground in front of the toad. Still, the toad didn’t move an inch.

“You brain dead little maggot!” Barad-Dur pounced on the infuriating thing, but it hoped away from him. “GET BACK HERE!” The pup chased after the toad, shouting profanities and promises of a nice frog leg lunch once he caught it.
