Lol, yeah, the title is half based off that "Playing with the Queen of Hearts" song er, whatever. I kept thinking about that, and then how cute flower crowns were. Of course, then I put the song line and that together to make a Valentine's day candy heart crown. You know, those candy hearts that say weird stuff like "Be Mine" "Hugs" and "Excellent!" <_< Not sure why some of them say excellent, but I have seen those before. Naturally all the ones Starfire used are the affectionate ones instead of the weird radical catch phrase ones.

Candy Heart Crown in head, it only suited Starfire's personality. And whom better to give a crown to the queen of her heart than Raven? *giggles* Ah, it's been too long since I've colored something remotely shoujo-ai. At first Raven was supposed to have a smile of some kind, but she looked....erm freaky. So I stuck a frown on her, she's smiling on the inside though, why else would she be blushing?

I'm not sure about how I shaded Starfire's armor, but I am pleased with her arm. I have trouble moving body limbs in a way that's different and natural with the foreshortening to worry about. This time it actually turned out fairly well. Colored the eyes a little differently than I usually do. Erm...aside that, enjoy my crappy bg. It's supposed to be Titan Tower's roof, yeah. Did I mention I do crappy backgrounds? heh heh

Edit: Wrote down the wrong year when I dated the image. Also note, that candy crown isn't one of those candy bracelets you buy and put on your arm. I drew this with the intention that Star had made it by threading candy onto some string so there wouldn't be a way for it to cut of the circulation to Raven's head.
