Since Lelouch was rather against picking out the next player, you had taken it upon yourself to be, that next player. The moment he'd turned his back, you had rushed up to the backpack and found your item. Though your actions might be considered cheating or against the rules by some, you doubted Lelouch would get angry. You waited impatiently until he finally returned with the last two players. For some reason, your mind went completely blank the moment he looked at you. Stuttering and mumbling, you only managed to speak one sentence before he reached you. “I-I um, I thought I'd save you time, so I got this.” Feeling like a complete idiot, you held up a badly squished cigarette.

“That's fine.” Lelouch smiled. “I really appreciate you trying to give me a hand. Believe it or not, hosting this game is actually pretty tiring after a while.”

“Is no one going to mention that she has my item? I want that back you know.” With a strange smirk and overly excited voice, Lloyd placed his hands on the arms of his chair and pushed himself onto his feet. “Okay, let's get this game going, no time to waste.” Without stopping for even a second, Lloyd grabbed your hand and walked you into the closet. “I'll take my cigarette back now.”

You looked down at the small white cylinder you held in your hand and cringed. “I know you probably already know this, but these things are really bad for you.”

Lloyd feigned a look of complete shock. “Are they? I hadn't noticed, I'll make sure I stop smoking at once then. I should probably let all the other smokers out there know as well. I doubt they've ever heard this life changing information.” With one quick movement, he snatched the cigarette out of your hand and placed it behind his ear.

As offended and sarcastic as he'd seemed to be just seconds earlier, you found it rather odd to see him smiling. Lloyd was a strange, confusing man though, so you tried not to dwell on anything he did or said for more than a few seconds. “You don't have to be rude about it. I wasn't trying to offend you or come down on you.”

“You didn't have to say anything at all, but you did. This can go both ways you see?” He leaned against the cold closet wall and grinned even wider. “We could both just keep our mouths shut until Lelouch comes to get us, but I don't think that would be much fun at all.” He tapped his forefinger against his lips and silently thought. “But what could we do hmm?” You really weren't sure what he was trying to accomplish, or even how you should respond to him. For that reason, you took his earlier advice and just kept your mouth shut. “You're going to be boring then?” He sighed. “It seems I got stuck with the least desirable player in the bunch. What a shame, you seemed so promising before.”

“I don't know if you're trying to make me angry, or if you're naturally this rude to everyone you meet. Either way, you're seriously starting to tick me off.” You'd really tried your hardest not to get annoyed with him, but you had a short fuse and a terrible problem with remembering to think before you spoke.

“Oh am I? How very unfortunate. I suppose we should have just kept quiet then hmm? Though, before I take my vow of silence, I would like to say just one more thing. Your moods are on a terrible roller coaster. You go from outgoing, to timid to happy to angry and then back again. This, believe it or not, isn't considered normal.” Hearing Lelouch's footsteps approaching the door, Lloyd quickly stood up, brushed off his white lab coat and took your hand in his. “If you would like to come see me sometime, I'd be more than happy to check your hormone levels for you.” After offering you a smile, Lloyd placed a gentle kiss on the back of your hand and awaited your answer.

With your cheeks turning red both from embarrassment, and anger you let out a snort and roughly pulled your hand away from his. “Oh sure, that' will happen.”

Undeterred by your attitude, Lloyd pressed his palms together and chuckled. “How wonderful. I shall most eagerly be awaiting your visit.” After only a few steps, he turned around and spoke again. “Just be mindful that if I don't hear from you in a week, I will send someone to fetch you.” A bright, wide smile flashed across his face before he turned away from you and waved. “Well, until then.”
