I love how you used the perspective in this image to give it a more dramatic feel. The composition is well thought, although I am unsure of the black object forming a diagonal in the foreground. maybe it draws too much attention to it. My eyes keep jumping from the red-hair character, to his hands and to that black diagonal. Maybe it's intentional and it certainly keeps the attention of the viewer shifting and moving around the image. This gives a certain tension to it, which is good, given the scene that is portrayed.
Also the red hair character really gets the focal point of the image, making him seem important in the scene, even if one neglects the content. His hair, a bright orange, contrasting to the luminous blue light in his face... It's perfect. There is no other place in the image with so much color contrast. And about the biggest value contrast, that too is in that area, between his head and his body, with those dark, black clothes.
His eyes though are really well done, doing a combo with both his hands, communicating the magic he's using. His expression though, tells me that that magic probably isn't white magic... He seems terribly disturbed and malefic. Ahahah!
