Back when I first started learning how to scan and digitally color my drawings in Gimp, I had a running series of pin-ups in front of relatively simple backgrounds. Having recently bought CS3, I thought revisiting the series would be an excellent way to get used to Photoshop and Illustrator. I was planning to do the girl's coloring in PS and switch to Illustrator to do the "bird" in vectors... I however lost patience with Illustrator and all of the coloring and texturing was finally done in ps. Illustrator seems really powerful, though, and I'll love to try it out later on, with a simpler project that doesn't leave my poor Mac Mini's 512Mb of RAM gasping for air...
