Right, let’s get this out of the way:
100 pages! WOOOOOO!
I apologize if you were expecting any bells and whistles at the hundred page mark. It seemed a little on the nose to do so (though I am indeed proud of reaching the numerical milestone), but I personally find this pleasant enough: she’s a’comin’ BACK, kiddo. You’re not so bad.
As for Andy? She’s coming BACK. He’s IN on it now, whatever “it” is, and for all the answers this might lead to, and all the cuddly blue critters, the person at the center of it all seemed ready to bite his head off just a short while ago. It’s not the most comfortable position to be left in.
Lest you think we’ve reached 100 pages only to coast on that for awhile, buckle up...

She tried to kill me with a water tower and then we got distracted by cows and "floppy crotch tits"... im starting to feel like something isn't quite right... like archie, after he started to live in scifi b-movie sub plots, but before he started to go through a half assed goth/soaps phase

Time really does seem to fly by, doesn't it? Alright! Who keeps throwing that proverbial clock out of that proverbial window!?!
Gogo appears decisively troubled by her current predicament. Understandably so. She obviously has some suspicions that need confirming, but what could those suspicions be, I wonder?

"Just me" and then Pablo comes along. So... is Pablo somehow an extension of Gogo? A failed attemt to self-replicate in her childhood? No, I'm not serious, but it would be kind of fun.

Occasionally he happens to go in the same direction as Gogo... But does so of his own accord.

So, first off, big fan of Bomango in general, Van. I've been following your progress for about...3 years, now? Maybe 4, don't remember exactly. That being said, and don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be "that guy", but um...are we gonna get to some serious plot points, soon? I mean, I like what I've seen so far, but none of the interactions between these characters have really...gone anywhere.
I mean yeah, Gogo confirmed she was a titan-class monster, She and Andy had a little conflict when he told her he didn't know who she was, and there was that whole flashback sequence with both of them, but the rest just kinda feels like...80-something pages of fluff. Not a lot of direct questions are answered, almost nothing's been explained...and here we are now at page 100, with the actual, honest-to-goodness plot getting sidetracked by cows, of all things, before gogo just runs off, again without explaining jack-diddly...
Again, not meaning to undermine your work at all, it's INCREDIBLY clear that a LOT of progress has been made since the single-strips and snippets, and in your dedication to the story. I just feel like it's kinda being...dragged out; and of course, I can be completely wrong about that. Just a single reader's opinion on the matter, is all this is.

But YES, I certainly feel you with this critique. I often get in my own way in terms of pacing the story out, and kinda let the “setup” aspect of the comic run pretty long. It isn’t inherently a bad thing to wander around in this way (and a lot of readers have been very indulgent and forgiving in that respect), but for potential readers or people who aren’t familiar with my previous work, it hasn’t been a very dynamic story as a whole.
Fortunately, it’s not a matter of there being “nothing there”; there’s a lot ahead and a lot to extrapolate and explore from what’s already there. I think much of the wandering narrative so far has been partly due to some hesitation on my part to pull the trigger and set those things in motion—or that I’ve simply been TOO comfortable in taking my time to get there.
Anyway...all of this is to say that I’ve come to be more aware of this lull over the past few weeks/months, and have been working with a mindset of cutting to the chase in a way that still works in concert with the story as planned. Where the story goes next will answer some questions and open some very large doors

I see it more like a in depth comic, with all the ins and outs of the characters; With all the boring stuff in between.. And I LOVE IT! Like a better dragonball stretched out, but in a good way

Technically it was Pablo during that hug while Gogo distracted Andy. Hes got deceptively nimble paws with a light touch and scalpel sharp claws!
