This sequence of story was one of those instances where I thought I was more or less settled on how this particular conversation between Andy and Gogo ended: on page 120, which was going to be the “end” of the first leg of the story. However, Levi pointed out that Andy hadn’t asked the rather obvious question about Pablo yet. Andy would certainly have gotten around to it—I’m sure he’s got PLENTY of questions for Gogo—but now it did seem strange that he’d save this one for later. So now we’ve popped THAT can of worms about “Papa”, hehe
It was also bugging me a little bit that we introduced the idea of Gogo “staying” with the Fishers somehow, but we didn’t really indicate where Gogo was going to be spending this particular night. The thought of Andy inviting Gogo into his apartment would definitely have been fun, but it also would’ve extended into more of a scene than I wanted to make of it, and I couldn’t easily see Andy taking on the hassle of explaining the situation to his mom, either. So I settled on the “sleeping out on the porch” idea as a simpler solution, safe in the knowledge that Gogo isn’t one to balk at sleeping outdoors, and setting the scene for this little bit of epilogue.
Of course, this all leads to one MORE question from Andy, and just a LITTLE more follow-up before we FINALLY move on. Stay tuned! (and sorry about the wait, hehe)

Well, the quick and easy answer would be looking up drawing tutorials (or “How to Draw” books). Sounds simple, but a lot of those can provide some very good foundational knowledge.
Besides that, the best way to learn is by repetition and experience. Unless you have an INSANE amount of natural talent, the surest way is to draw a lot, draw often, and repeat...which ALSO sounds simple, but it really is one of the biggest barriers to get up and over in any discipline: keeping at it.
One more suggestion I can think of is to practice by drawing stuff you enjoy about other artists’ work. Obviously, you don’t want to just copy other people’s work and call it your own, but as a way of improving your own work, it’s a good way to learn the ropes and introduce outside elements and details you might not have in your own skill set.

The plot thickens...
On a side note: This is a good way to build some tension/expectation. I'm also happy about the idea of Gogo having an extended family that shows up, particularly since this seems to be a very family-centric title. Not to mention, he always looked like a bad@$$ in the G1 Bomango version. I'm wondering how Didi will show up in this story. Will she be a spawn of Gogo, or a completely separate character? I suppose Van could get away with making her a separate (albeit still related) character without too much fuss. Besides...the mutation/growth was a bit weird (not in a bad way), and this new universe could make her existence more poignant; give her a more specific purpose and/or mission to the story, even if it was just as support or a connection to her father.
Didi didn't seem to have any powers in the G1 version, so maybe she's full human in this? Which begs the question: Is Gogo human?
Here is my theory/suggestion: I suspect Gogo's probably half-human, half-monster. That means both her sister Didi and her father are human. And that would also mean that Gogo's MOTHER is a MONSTER, which would be insanely cool.
Didi comes off as more mature, so I would suspect she's an older sister. She and her father lost their mother at some point, which opened a chance for Papa Gogo to meet a new woman/monster he fell in love with and had baby Gogo.

But Didi had powers in G1 in Andy's birthday's arc Didi saved our ginger fellow from Gogo's rage(accidentally destroying a wall in Fisher's house)

I always thought she just redirected her power; like a conduit. I figured it was a bi-product of her biology...having spawned from Gogo. Does it qualify as "powers" though? Well, maybe...
It might be more interesting if she ends up being something akin to a mage in G2. I always got the feeling that's what her father was. And if he can hop dimensions, why not? So, maybe Didi is also a mage like her father...rather than being a half-breed monster girl like Gogo...

Didi was also spawned from Gogo's side. She's a clone. But when that happened there was a visible change in Gogo; as Didi became more intelligent, Gogo became more built around brute force and lacking in social skills.

I knew that you were establishing serious(?) canon with this new series, Van, but it just didn't seem to sink in until now.
With this particular scene, whether "Papa" shows up or not, you've firmly established his presence in the story and added a bit more gravitas to the situation.
Nothing seems to have been shoehorned in, so far. Kudos on that.
Still trying to noodle how you might introduce Didi into this story.
Will it involve running Andy over with a scooter?
Head trauma via guitar bludgeoning, perhaps?
Maybe something like a cross between Mel Brooks and Mary Poppins...?
