So...let's get to the obvious bit right away:
For the first 65 pages of this comic, I've been going with mostly gray tones and a very limited color palette with occasional highlights and colored details (like characters' eyes, atmospheric details, etc). The primary reason for this simple color scheme was to make less work for myself in ensuring consistent updates; gray tones are simpler, faster, and the little colored highlights added some accented detail that was pretty cool.
But as some of the previous pages wedged in more color detail little by little, it was getting frustrating for me to keep ladling on various shades of gray to characters and scenes that I knew were more colorful than I was making them, and I realized that whatever time I was saving by skipping a few extra steps was negligible at best.
So there's nothing about this particular page that magically activated the Wonderful World of Color...I just decided it was time to get back in the groove.
But what do YOU, the viewers at home, think?
Oh, and WELCOME, all you new viewers and watchers and patrons, to what I believe is the first active post since the Imgur/dA front page wave of hits! You surprised the daylights out of me and startled me with a barrage of messages, but welcome!

I like the addition of color, but i also didnt mind the gray. Though color does make things more detailed. What I really hope is that we learn soon more about gogo. More specifically who her mother is.

Personally, from a storytelling point of view, your use of color is perfect. Start out gray and bland, indicating how boring and dull this kid's life is, as well as how bleak he assessed his summer would be. The hint of colors tell the readers of important characters to watch for, or important clues. It reminds me of The Sixth Sense. Then as the extrodinary events occur, it comes with a completely appropriate explosion of color, culminating in this moment, where he realizes, nothing will ever be dull again.

Did Gogo instantly bring color to the world?... Oh. I did read the comments yet... Well then: Color is fine, but I personally would like this regular update schedule to continue.

One of the new influx of watchers and after a binge reading over the weekend, I have to say, I've really enjoyed it all so far.
As for the colours, I felt like the previous splashes of colour were the spark of significant relationships between the main characters. And then we get the full page colour its the biggest indication of how significant the relationship between Gogo and Andy is to them.
So thank you for the comic and the enjoyable world you've created.

You may want to keep this info to yourself instead of spoiling possible surprises, but I'm curious if Gogo's scarred face is there to stay.
Also, over the course of the original mess of comics Gogo got pretty damn buff, more so than she appears in this new beginning. Is that, like, THE new character model for her, or is she gonna get stronger over time again? Originally I thought she getting bigger was you changing how you envisioned her, but now occurs to me that she exercises a lot and probably should get buffer over time...

Surprises aside, one of the perks of this comic now being an ongoing story is visual continuity and fluidity...In other words, appearances can change

That makes me think that Didi's gonna be grown in a lab and Gogo's gonna borrow half of her face, but it'll be okay cuz Didi has regenerative properties.

I'm going to be looking forward to this comic every Monday. My only wish is that there was more frequent updates, but it's just a wish! I'm thrilled to see where this story goes. Thanks for adding in color. It really helps to bring the story to life.

That's what I prefer too. I love grayscale and black and white comics, and occasionally i like it in my own work, but most of my older comics had a color scheme, and not having it in the new stuff was beginning to feel weird
