Description
Rough pose sketches as an attempt to get back into drawing. Referenced from a collection of Punch cartoons- artists Furniss (1884), Sambourne (1902), Partridge (1899), Phil May (1895), Somerville (1905), H.M. Brock (1905) and Pegram (1916).Punch cartoons are great, both as a way to track what was going on at the time, and also, what are cartoon was at the time. Also, they are an endless source of reference because of how stunning the art is.

And this is -once again- the moment when I realize "Woman, you're never gonna be an artist!"
I couldn't even do sketches and poses like those! They look so simple but if I were to pick up a pencil and try to draw them I would utterly fail.
Oh well at least I can look at them since that doesn't require any talent at all ...
