Everyone who is still around on May 22 will totally want to put one of these stickers in their DA stamp collection, I'm sure.

I could say all sorts of silly things about silly people who have been predicting the end of the world since the days of Jesus H. Christ. But I'll refrain. For now. Harrumph. Well, in my view, predicting the end of the world like that is more than a little irresponsible, and people who do it should be -- at least -- ashamed of themselves when it doesn't come off. People who aren't adult enough to take responsibility for their part in making the world an increasingly fucked-up place to live want to foist off the saving of the world onto a mythological figure who will make it all right with some magical cure. But meanwhile, they go blithely on making things worse and hating everyone who doesn't think like they do.

And then there's Louisiana. Wow, I'm glad I don't live there. If the hurricanes don't get you the rabid Christian terrorists will. Check out this blog: [link] Hahahaha. You thought only Islam was militant? Today I put ten bucks in Damon Fowler's scholarship fund here: [link] and when I went back to check the URL just now, I saw they have raised a whopping $6300 for his college fund, in one day. Wow.

Update 9:25am, May 22. Check out Damon Fowler's graduation, and the video. As of now, people have raised over $11,000 in scholarship funds for him, in just a couple of days. [link]

Update, June 23: The total raised was $31,250.40 for Damon's education. Wow!
