i saw 's comic on this guy and i clicked on the link below to find the trace pic...<3 and
sega adds yet ANOTHER character to the sonic franchise, and guess what? he's another sonic rival (like shadow). no one knows his name, yet (well, sega...but they remain tight-lipped), so he's still "that guy". the "ibis protector" or something...he's from Sonic NextGen/360, the new sonic game to be released this june for PS3 and Xbox360...
what about the people stuck with gamecube???? prejudicial...bas- anyway!! the game screenshots look amazing...sega seems to be getting better and better with making the sonic franchise look cool, but worse and worse with story lines....the synopsis sounds so cliche it's not even funny...sonic has to save some stupid princess...WHAT ABOUT AMY?!?! i also heard that eggman joined weightwatchers and has slimmed down...and shadow IS in the game, afterall!!! <3 *glomp* Shadow: GET OFFA ME!!! and they all grew taller...now they're three-and-a-half heads tall...:S they're just getting bigger and bigger...
oh, and i didn't know how to draw his back quills...sonic was covering him...T.T and this is just a quick sketch. there's probably a ton of things wrong...

What about all us loyal Nintendo fans, forced to wallow away the days as Sony and Microsoft monopolize all the best developers and publishers while Nintendo--the &*$@%! father and master of video games--is left forsaken and bereft?! (<--- can I string 'em together, or what? This came out in about 10 seconds! 
Nice sketch of "that guy." I think I saw ChadtheCartoonNut draw a color one of these in a similar pose, or it might have been someone else. But I like yours better; he seems very sure of something, as if he were to say: "...And that's how it's going to be, got it!?" He actually looks just like Shadow, only with his quills blown back, and without the flare, charm, and charisma. They should come up with a new human opponent for him to face, I think they could work with that...

wow...so many rumours...i've also heard glare the hedgehog, yet someone confidently referred to him as "silver the hedgehog". however, i get this intuitive inkling that his name is "siphon the hedgehog". i didn't even think about it--i just feel that name in my head when i think about him...:S

(did i mention that to you already? :s) i've been having this convo with so many different people i forgot who i told what...i still think siphon is better...but then it's as said, the younger fanbase probably wouldn't be able to identify with the name "siphon". you know, i totally forgot about that end of the spectrum....i've only been thinking of the mature sonic audience...:S

Wow great job! Yea word has been going around about it,it would be nice if we knew the name lol. It kinda sucks cause he looks similar to shadow and its just a bore at times seeing a "repeat" in characters,and i agree with you on the story lines as well. But hey,what can you do right? lol Great job on the pic!

well, sonic does have that mature element to it, mainly since SA2. it came with the introduction of rouge and shadow, where shadow is the violent aspect and rouge is the sexual aspect. this is especially obvious in shadow the hedgehog, where MANY more mature themes were introduced that have NEVER been in sonic before. for example, the addition of weaponry to gameplay, swearing, and blood. we have yet to see rouge's representative aspect bloom, however...at least, this is my humble opinion...*bows*

oh wow,never thought about all that,i guess you could look at it that way. i think they didnt a terrible job on the shadow game to make him all "tough" and it got annoying hearing shadow say "damn" every 10seconds lol i think they were trying too hard

huh! that's what i'm betting!!! i think that they really publicized the game for shth well, making it radically different from other games in the series, yet when it actually came to playing and cutscenes, it could have been better. you're right--a lot of the language was shocking, but got annoying after a while. plus, he had absolutely no emotion whatsoever, and the fact that the same guy does both shadow and sonic really annoyed me as well. at first, i didn't think it was that bad, but then it became really obvious as u could hear them say some of their phrases the same way.
and yay! someone agrees with my theory...<3 that's just my theory, anyway. i wouldn't be surprised if rouge's aspect get implicated somehow through the shadow franchise, if it continues. however, following the strict no-official-pairing rule of sonic, her relations would have to strictly be sexual to avoid a lasting romantic affair...wow, i'll bet you sega's planned all this out...or maybe i just have analyzed the series too much...:s

yea the game really got trashes because of that and got low ratings,that guy does both of their voices? i always thought it was 2 different guys,wow that would suck cause you would like slowly hear their similars ya know? It would be shocking if there was like a love connetion with even any of them,the closest thing to love on there is between sonic and amy,but their not even dating so im not even sure you could call that a love encounter. If sega went any further it just wouldnt be sonic like and who knows what kind of reviews they would get. im guess if you wanted to read something like that theirs fanfics,but i find thoses kinda werid,but thats just me lol im sure your not the only who has thought of this

i totally agree.....and sonic and shadow ARE done by anthony griffith--you can especially hear it in sonic x(since they used the same voices). sonic just sounds really fake and shadow has no emotion whatsoever, my guess is this is griffith's pathetic attempt to differentiate between the two. but shadow has a line in sonic x where you could've sworn it was sonic speaking if you weren't watching the screen. the only reason one can really tell their voices apart is because sonic and shadow are radical extremes in personality to each other, so most of the time it isn't obvious. however, if shadow gets animated or sonic gets serious, the other pokes through...maybe this was sega's intention...to further deepen the contrasted similarities of shadow and sonic, but i think that using the same voice actor was the wrong way to do it...T.T oops...i'm blabbering again....sorry...XD
hmm...love connections in sonic. i'm sure this is something that all fans are waiting to see....<3 but it's the sorta thing that SHOULD never happen in a franchise such as sonic the hedgehog. these characters were meant to be standalones, with only hints of their lovelives. this is why i was surprised when cosmo was paired with tails---they broke an archetype rule for the game saga!!! yeah..there are always fanfics, but they're not official...plus everyone (including me) always adds ocs, which not many people like to read about. i think i would love to see the love between the chars....not necessarily to have them grow up and get married, but to sort of add that "soap opera" element to the plot...XD in my humble opinion, anyway...:S
