Hey, it's nice to see your on DA too (my username is the same here and there)! It's nice that I can zoom in this time.
I've drawn some Holmes stuff too, if you want to see.

Hello! I'm everywhere .
I actually found 'our art corner' through deviantart. Someone sent me a message if I wanted to join. So I did. It's nice to see there are more people on both websites. I'll check out your page asap!

Amazing. It reminds me of the original drawings of the Sherlock Holmes book series/stories - they're by Sidney Paget, I guess?

Oh. My. Gosh.
This is THE best compliment I've ever gotten on one of my drawings.
I adore Pagets drawings so much. You have no idea.

Beautiful!! I love the white pencil strokes. Did you only use white crayon or did you also add grey?
I love it.

Thank you!!!!!!
Let me let you in on my tricks of the trade .
I use mostly white pencil (a pretty thick pencil since I'm too lazy to sharpen it into a small tip. That's why it looks like crayon) and I also use a little bit of black pencil. Blended in with the white it gives a bit of a grayish colour .

Thanks for taking the time to answer and explain, I appreciate it! I hadn't thought about the "blending black crayon with the white", it seems more interesting than using grey crayon! And it certainly does work for you I'll have to try it!
