These little sun birds, sometimes called honey eaters, hang around our garden eating the nectar form the hibiscus, and various other flowering plants. This is the third nest that they have built near the house but this has been the first time that I've been able to catch mum peeping out while sitting on her eggs. They build their nests so that they hang from things like tree branches. One year they built a nest that hung from a chain that used to have a hanging basket on it.Thank you for any faves and comments. They are always very appreciated even if I don't get to say thanks for a while, I do see them and appreciate them

Love the tropics, i have live when i was a child in IndonesiΓ« .I am not Indisch, but my Father has works there for the Netherlands. I was 4 times back with my husband for hollyday.

Yes. They're right next ti the grevillea, hibiscus just a few feet away, and our little water fountain on the verandah, which the loriketts think is there for them to bathe in
