Description
These little sun birds, sometimes called honey eaters, hang around our garden eating the nectar form the hibiscus, and various other flowering plants. This is the third nest that they have built near the house but this has been the first time that I've been able to catch mum peeping out while sitting on her eggs. They build their nests so that they hang from things like tree branches. One year they built a nest that hung from a chain that used to have a hanging basket on it.
