Description
Design for my leavers ball/'prom' dress.I have a few other designs in mind....but this was the first one i sketched out.
My mother is helping me make my final dress *glee*

You should make the top like a nice black tone and the rest at the bottom of the black just a nice crimson blood red. It would probably look too Medieval for you but maybe that isn't your taste lol. Overall it is a lovely dress and I would looove to show you some of my ideas

Oh but I love medieval styles! That's a lovely idea. If one day I ever do make this dress I will keep those colours in mind

Really?! I mean I have A LOT and I mean A LOT of designs but I'm shy and don't want anyone to see them... Why? Because I'm worried that people will say that they suck ASS lol. i love this dress! im making something similar for my graduation. if i were you i wouldve made the dress with green or blue silk with a soft black sheer on top so that it looks like the dress is a shimmery dark green or blue. hope the dress turns out well for you

this is a gorgeous dress. i think it would look good if the top and bottom were connected and if the stitching along the hem and bodice, along with the fabric within the v, one color with the stiching and the rest a diffrent color it would look great. but that is me, i have only a few dresses to my name. This one though is truly gorgeous!

Simple but elegant... I really like it, especially the designs in the bust and the hem of the skirt... I wish I could make my own clothes... I would dress in the weirdest stuff

I really hate to be the only guy to perhaps comment on this but I like the design, what colors are you thinking of and what kind of fabrics? Is the torso gonna be seperate, more like a corset? Reminds me of some of Amy Lee's sketches

I'm not completely sure on the colours and fabrics just yet.
For the colours i'm currently deciding between plain black, black and blood red, black and sapphire, or plain sapphire.
I have no idea about the fabrics though.....my boyfriend is suggesting velvet but that's because he loves the stuff, heh.
As for the torso, i was thinking about having it seperate like a corset/bodice. But i was also thinking about having it attached to the main dress in some way or another.
