I'm probably completely off with this- but is the qoute from the remake of RE1? If it isn't, I'm profoundly sorry. ;; It still reminds me of those games a little bit though which is LOVE because Resident Evil is one of my favourite series ever.
And this picture is gorgeous (in a horror-kind-of-way). The texture is so blurry and smudgy which makes me think of heat and when you look at things from a distance in the heat and they become wavy and indistinct...also, the red colours help a lot with that. Very feverish and sickly and fetid. *Fetid is also love*
I also really like the scratchy parts of the picture, where it's like something has been transposed over the original image. Again, it really adds to trapped, insane atmosphere.
The expression is god. You can see the fear and despair and madness so well....and the shadow looming above is so foreboding!
Definite +fav.
