I couldn't sleep, so instead of rolling around hoping I'd fall asleep, I got up and did a thing.I did some vectors of the iconic Poke'ball. I felt like the simple capsule-like item would serve as an ideal model to test a few different "styles" that I feel I'm capable of doing in Illustrator. Now, I didn't put a whole lot of time into this, but I'm quite pleased with the result. It was good practice. Need to work more with the Mesh Tool, though; that one definitely could've turned out a bit better.
But whatever. It was a productive use of my sleepless night, as far as I'm concerned.

Personally I thought the Cell Shade one turned out the best. I like the level of detail the Mesh tool will allow me, but I need to practice with it more haha

Indeed. I really need to get in the habit of regularly practicing. I really want to get better because it's so annoying when I picture something awesome in my head but can't make it look right on paper or the screen lol XD
