NOTE: While I will be marking this as "Mature," this picture really isn't that bad; just a warning since it's tone is a little on the darker side and because it does technically show blood.

So, here's something I wanted to create for a good long while now. Was hoping to have it ready for Halloween but alas, I took my sweet time with this project. But if I keep hanging onto it until it's "perfect" I'd never publish it.

Anyway, this is a piece inspired by and in tribute to the music, animations and fan-fictions pertaining to the Rainbow Factory concept, which told of an alternate MLP universe where the Spectra needed for the Pegasi of the Cloudsdale Weather Corporation to create rainbows came from brutally extracting it from those who were deemed Failures. These ominous and dark fandom creations played a significant role in my becoming a fan of MLP. It's a bit of a long story so I think I'll save that monologue for a Journal entry , but in the end, while I was drawn in by this darkness due to my depressed state at the time, it led me to discover how delightful and charming the show itself was. I've since enjoyed most of the show (still behind a few episodes) and discovered tons of other amazing content from the fandom.

I guess no matter how dark the tunnel you're lost in is, there will always be a light at the end.
