Description
A hunger for revenge burned within Kitty. Abandoned to the whims of a mad scientist and transformed, she turned her anger towards her former friend, who the hero had saved instead of her, just because her friend was blonde and... bigger... than Kitty.

"Well," she thinks to herself, "if black cats can be bad luck, wait until they get a load of me...!"

The lab was abandoned, the mad scientist long disposed of, but the equipment was still in working order. All that Kitty needs is to lure her friend over, and maybe don that lab coat for added effect.

"Let's see her ride off into the sunset after this..."

never disappoints with his commission requests. A journey into the (often ludicrous) trappings of old B-movie science fiction and horror, we get a story with a catgirl and a centauress (albeit a newly transformed one), and some good old-fashioned lightning powered tech and glowy science juice.

Technique-ally speaking, this was one of my more ambitious (and difficult) pieces, due to the "new" techniques I brought into it. Seasoned digital artists will be familiar with using gradient maps to help with their coloring, but this was a new thing to me, and I'm quite pleased with this initial experiment with the technique. I even modeled some props using different files in Photoshop to do the more geometric shapes with the marquee tools, then pasted them in before painting in their surfaces and textures. A far cry from importing 3D modeled items, but my poor MacBook can't handle that sort of software.
