Description

The evening was quiet, save for the soft patter of the rain outside. It was a time for relaxing, and for a bit of planning. There was a lot Kitty wanted to do, but there was time, and a bit of rest was a nice reward for recent successes.

The rain poured gently, and the droplets hitting the old lab formed a gentle rhythm that helped Kitty relax as she went over some old notes in her study, and the soft lighting from the enclosure from her prize experiment was comfortable.

The tapping on the glass was soft, but it intruded on the steady rhythm that the rain had. A shiver of unease rippled through Kitty's skin and the patches of fur on her body responded, rising stiffly into the air. Even her tail, so pliable and playful, stiffened, the standing fur making it appear much thicker than usual. A thought formed in Kitty's mind, one that seemed to have escaped her in the busy work earlier in the day...

"Did I remember to feed her today...?"

Commissioned work for ! It's always fun working on these. My comfort zone's always been about drawing pretty girls, but these force me to learn a bit more with animal anatomy, and working with more fantastical designs, and I also get to experiment more with my texture work.
