Description
The first fully functioning particle rifle ever issued to Imperial soldiers the M7 served with distinction during the Unification Wars before being replaced by the M9 Blackjack and later the M25 Cutlass due to the M7's "fragile" nature.

This all changed when members of the 8th Special Forces Group designated the "Helldivers" sought to modernize the ancient warhorse as part of the Unification Day Ceremony.

Updated with a lighter frame and a standard modernization to meet current Imperial Standards the newly designated M7A3 proven itself superior to even the MK12 Carbine issued to Special Forces. Subsequently members of Imperial Requisitions took an interest in the newly updated weapon due to the vast armories filled with ancient M7A1s and A2s that can easily be modified to fit with the A3 prototype.

Currently serving as the official rifle of the 8th Special Forces Group the M7A3 has proven the difference between Mission Failure and Mission Success.
