Why exactly does being a fillyfooler keep her from having kids? Sure they might not have the magic to make sperm cells, but artificial insemination doesn't exactly require advanced technology.

How what help? Artificial insemination? Just get sperm from a stallion and use it. The foal will only be genetically related to one of the parents, but that doesn't seem to be a huge deal. You could even use sperm from a relative so the foal will be related to both parents.

Rainbow Dash will never let herself doing that. She is too loyal to her lover. So she can't let herself pregnant with other stallion or any male who she isn't love. And in her relationship. If they could pregnant. I think it will be RD's lover that will take the role of wife and mother.

I think there's more confusion and sadness at the fact that we thought she had a descendant and we found out suddenly she doesn't. I'm not seeing anyone directly criticizing the lesbian aspect at all.

Well there's no need to guess, all the comments are there for you to see. There's one link to a YouTube video debating the subject in the series itself, but it does not criticize the LGBT community. And that video is rendered moot anyway, as this is an AU comic.
I've no doubt you've seen some fans behave inappropriately before, and that sucks. I'm just trying to point out that that doesn't seem to be the case here. Any outrage is directed at there not being a descendant, not RD's sexual preferences.
