To say nothing of the ethics of utilizing intimate medical data acquired illegally! I mean, maybe the laws are different in Equestria, but here on Earth you don't get away with stealing confidential information for your own research just by saying "sorry, but I wanted it!" That's the sort of thing that gets folks sent to prison, no matter what kind of lab coat they wear! I guess Equestria grants its royalty freedom from guilt over that sort of thing.
Hey, here's an idea... if you want that information so much, why don't you ASK FOR IT? Oh, yes, of course, many ponies might say "no." So logically, the right thing to do is to ignore their wishes and do it anyway! Individual liberties? Pfft. Who cares about that? Seriously, this is a clear case of a politician grossly abusing the rights of her subjects! This woman oughta be impeached!
But what ABOUT asking for it? It's actually not such a bad idea! Create a program to promote this procedure so that ponies who want to contribute to your research can VOLUNTEER for it! Sure, not every pony would go for it, but many might. If they're asked for permission, well, lots of ponies could probably accept a peck on the lips as an acceptable (if weird) part of a medical examination. That's not only a fair compromise, it's the moral thing to do!
I'm sorry, I know I'm ranting, but watching her dab her hooves together wibbling and whining while she justifies this terrible behavior like a naughty child strikes me as grotesque for a person in such a position of authority!
