But Sombra became one of the good guys( in the comics at least).

They did kinda retconned the fact that "changelings can only transform into other ponies" that was stated by Twilight Sparkle herself in one of the comics into "that was false and they can transform into literally and almost everything" that is seen in the show. And they also canonized the pillars of magic from the comics into the show. And the fact that they have made the main Sombra the good guy in the comics and not the show may be one reason why there isn't a Sombra returns episode yet. But i guess anything is possible.

No, mirror Sombra turn evil after he drain the evil out of mirror Celestia and Luna into himself. Normal Sombra became good in a later arch after his girlfriend brought him back to live and he release spirits made of hate and fear.
