I had problems with that episode as well... i mean really dashie?, donΒ΄t you know words can hurt, even if you didnΒ΄t say them with bad intension? Heck if somepony throw me a Party for my birthday like Pinkie did, i would have been so gratefull i would probably cry.
Now on to the art itself, she looks so cute like that, but she sometimes scare me with straight hair O_o, nice drawing my friend ^^, although question, is Dashie getting a wingboner, tailboner or both due to Pinkie Pie extreme amount of cuteness? OwO?

How the hell was she supposed to know Pinkie was upset? nobody told her! Dash is not in the wrong here. It's her birthday, she's focused on having a good time (which she should be on HER special day). Pinkie tried to make it all about herself and her issues. She annoyed me in this episode.

I think you are taking this out of context. In that chapter, Cheese Sandwich never tried to compete with Pinkie and displace her, but to work with her to make a party, and thats how RD and the others see it; there is nothing bad in it. ItΒ΄s Pinkie the one who takes it personal and forgots all about having fun, putting her pride above else. If it seems that RD and the others displaced her in favor of Cheese Sandwich, is because she is more focused in being the best of the "competition" imagined by herself only, that in what truly matters. She is not displaced; she displaced herself alone.

first on the picture. the expressions are so adorable and I love dashie's response "straight hair so cute" secondly I am so happy they kept her hair some what puffy when she got sad in pinkie pride.
