So this took about a total of... 10-12 hours? Poor Ava fell apart when she was baking in the oven so I had to kinda glue her back together. Clay isn't quite my forte but this was still plenty of fun and allowed me to touch on media I don't normally use. Finally, I would like to say that I love love love love LOVEEEE mixed media projects! They are so much fun! This takes me back to when I made my mixed media dragon I made back in highschool. He has marbles for eyes, feathers, acrylic, clay. The works.
Ah, I'm rambling.

Ava looks pretty great as a sculpture! All that trouble that you went through was definitely worth it, I love her feathery ears and wings they add so much to it.

No prob, Vay! Heck yes. Mixed media is great because it can make some really nice looking effects to art that you can't do with just one medium...But, finding mediums that work well together is a challenge. XD

XD haha, she would be quite an interesting one to do! If you go the mixed media route you can take soldering wire and rice paper (or some other fabric) and install them into her back. That way you could have them open and close as you pleased!

I have no idea how to sew or do that stuff though qnq plus imma have to stop being on wyngro for a while cause my bf just lost his job n now we have to figure out how to be able to make rent or we lose our place... qnq
