Ebori, to her surprise, had received a Heartkindle this past month. According to tradition, stationary was often sent out during this time of year to express feelings that were hastily hidden in any other normal occasion-- a concept that Ebori truly didn't understand. Certainly it made more sense to be speak ones mind as opposed to burying oneself in lies to both one and the other, right? Oh, how efficiency was often loss among common wyngrew kind.

Either way, the message she had received seemed to break her understanding of the event. It was written in a manner that caused more concern than anything. What was equally worrisome was that it was left without a hint of whom it could be. What did her age and interest in magic have to do with anything? It was all very confusing for the wyngling and she found herself mulling over the possibilities and nuances of the writing and style. The card had come with a bundle of books on the subject of magic-- something she was keen on delving into-- but there was something about the final sentence that haunted her thoughts.

"I'll miss you."

Three words, simple in nature, yet complex enough to arouse suspicion. Who had she known that had been missing for so long? One gro in particular came to mind. One that was green, large, older than she. One that had suffered a loss far greater than most during the harrowing warptide night.

Slowly she turned her gaze towards a small box settled upon a nearby shelf. With dark wood and simply crafted metal edges, it was appealing but not as appealing as the item within. Inside there was a crystal, one who's facets mirrored the world in a fanciful light. Pinks, blues, greens and purples, it was a delightful little item that, from what Ebori had read, offered a purifying energy. According to a book Ebori had discovered in the library, certain gems were categorized into empowering charts. Supposedly the minerals offered unique properties that ranged from healing, luck, fortune, and even encourage friend acquisition. It was a strange thought but decently entertaining to think about nonetheless. After hearing of Leif 's loss, she had obtained one of these many stones with the intent of gifting it to him in his time of need. Unfortunately, she had failed to do so. Was this card from him? If so, where had he gone?
