Volgograd, RussiaI feel somewhat... obliged even to post a frame like this one as kitsch as you think it might be.
This Russian Orthodox cross was out at a war memorial in the middle of nowhere in the honor of those who died during the battle of Stalingrad.
Of course, you're probably thinking, why would the Soviet government allow a cross? Well you're right in thinking that, this was only added by the Russian Orthodox church after the collapse of the USSR.

Hey, thanks... wish I could take credit about the composition... but I really can't. I just pretty much point and shot this one without really thinking about it. I didn't know what I have till afterwards.
