I did a lot a research of cartoon rabbit ears for this piece (specifically with regards to Looney Tunes) and they are a fascinating beast; extremely emotive and quite bizarrely flexible. I remember Lola Bunny's ears (from Space Jam) and somehow not noticing at the time how incredibly uncomfortable it would logically be to have one's ears done up in a ponytail (not than I'm and expert on rabbit anatomy), this continued onto The Looney Tunes Show, where it was even lampshaded a bit when Bugs complimented her 'hair' and she said 'Thanks, it's my ears'.

My point is I don't want to hear anything about her ear/hair here being too awkward or impossible, aight? There IS a PRECEDENT.
(...But if need be I can always change 'em later )

Moving on...

In "Pepe", Babs Bunny is Penelope's 20-something best friend/secretary. After an exhausting day of providing therapy to strangers, it's Babs who provides Penny with her own mental health support. Still as quippy, sarcastic and clever as ever, Babs often ribs and teases Penny both out and INSIDE the office; it's never cruel, mean-spirited or grossly disrespectful, but it certainly carries an ever-present air of 'We both know you're not gonna fire me' in the tone of delivery.

But whenever 'Penn' is seriously down or weary, Babs is likewise as serious about building her back up (). I've got some other ideas for Babs; tidbits of a backstory and some possible character/story arcs but nothing really set in stone - but I think it'll probably involve why she's a bit unforthcoming about her past as well as why exactly she's in Paris to begin with.
