Description
The different papers I used to decoupage this texture together came from ads and spreads in some magazines (Allure, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar). The colors were wonderful and graphic. I feel like it has a lot of motion and a ton of energy. This is for a project about color in art, and I feel like it's energetic and grungy at the same time. I think the best part about these textures that I'm making is that the paper base uses a paper that has already been printed on. All my papers so far have been papers from school. I've used instruction sheets from past projects and the cover pages from my syllabuses, and I think it has a sort of ironic humor that I haven't spent any money on this project so far, and that I'm using paper that the school gave me, to turn back in for school. heh.
