This is the third page of my Folio Project. The page features work and quotes by Alexander McQueen, my favorite fashion designer of all time. I also included my poem "The Silencers" because it has a lot of emotional power. The SilencersI see right through you.
You don't care about me.
You're trying to coerce me into silence.
I make you feel threatened
Because you don't understand,
And because deep in your heart
You know I'm right.
So I see how it is.
Condemned to a year of
No expression.
No words.
No questions.
No thoughts of my own.
Don't you dare think for a second
That I am naive enough
To believe you did this out of love,
You liars!
You don't need silencers
When you aren't using a gun. The tissue paper i used to cover the background for this page all came from either Victoria's Secret or Aerie, which I thought was appropriate in an ironic sort of way. I hand-stitched the content onto the page. I gave explanations of many of the pieces, which were hand-written (clearly.)
