Two more armor evolutions done for the Armor Evolution Meme. Crocutamon turns into either Boremon (Knowledge) or Leptonamon (Reliability) when digivolved with their corresponding digieggs.

Boremon
One of the tougher designs. The Knowledge evolution has to be inspired by Tentomon and his line, which are all insects. How do you turn a hyena into a bug? Not easily, especially when it still has to have a drill component, which is in the egg! So I started researching some African insects until I came across the Scorpionfly which suited my needs just perfectly. After that this digimon came together very quickly.

Boremon's name comes from the verb 'to bore' which is to dig or drill a hole in something. Additionally, Boremon is special since Knowledge is my character's crest, so this is what Crocutamon would technically turn into.

Leptonamon
Another difficult digimon to design, mostly because the Reliability egg doesn't really give one much to go on...and I really hate Submarimon (poor Armadillomon totally got screwed over). Gomamon's line always seems to be a sea mammal of some sort, so I researched some common sea mammals near Africa until I came across the Leopard Seal which once again, was just perfect. There's a little bit of inspiration from Gomamon and Zudomon here too. I actually ended up really liking this design a lot, once I figured it out.

Leptonamon's name comes from part of the leopard seal's scientific name.
