One piece at a time and you too can enjoy an overall good experience. It took me a couple years to get all my pieces to this point.

I have a HT Claro Plus audio card ikn the PC. It has multiple 1/4" mini plugs for 2-4-5 aound or digital audio.

The two M-Audio BX8a use analog 1/2" inputs. So I have a 1/4 to 1/2 converter plugged into the audio card for the FRONT output, with a cable going to each speaker.

Then the REAR output on the card is running a 1/4 to RCA converter cable that is 25" long, going around the baseboard to the left and then to the two rear Swans speakers that have RCA input on the amped speaker and then an output that goes up above the door and to the other side, completing the REAR.

Hope that explains it clear enough.

4-channel analog surround sound is good enough for me and the speakers have all the bass I need. With the quality of my machine, the audio card, and the speakers... it sounds a lot bigger and sharper than anything I've had before in a stereo setup. I did a lot of research before buying these parts with the budget I had.
