Description
15 February 2010"The place we call our soul
Ocean
The cyber ocean sees
Your dreams
Your totality
Nothing stays the same
Someday
I hope you will make more lasting connections
Feeling in monochrome
Who taught you emotions?"

Originally titled “Incredible Math” because I was listening to the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack while inking this; first WIP shot posted here and here , second WIP shot here .
Worked on this piece on and off for the past month and a half, and finally I am finished!
Since I like both the steampunky period look as well as sci-fi, I thought I should start merging both in my works instead of staying in my comfort zone [which is the period gothic noveau-ish look alone], basically ending up with something along the lines of steampunk-but-not-quite. Apologies, O great god of beautiful art Arthur Rackham, but the future is now and I hope you understand.
This is not my first bot, but apart from my pencil shading needing a bit of work she is the best baby I have created so far. Oh ambition.
Staedtler Mars Lumograph 3B and 8B pencil,
Unipin 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.8 on textured acid-free paper.
Tweaked in Adobe Photoshop CS2.

It was actually partly inspired by a song from the Ghost in the Shell OST (Monochrome). Thank you for the comment!
