Description
Recieved the prototype parts today for this project. The pegs were to tight to fit, but after sanding, they went together.
Some of the detailing was over measured, so adjustments will be made. I also made a handle to convert the windvane into a shield. Let me know what you guys think. I'll be heading out to a casting and molding supply store tomorrow to look into making these for sale. So if you like what you see, and are interested, let me know as it will help with the numbers.

Definitely impressive, including the adaptor for the wind-vein, however unnecessary it is. The arms already have built in shields formed from the truck cab sections. It still looks cool as hell.

No argument there, though there is a benefit to having the shield(s) mounted on the arm instead of hand carried. It frees the hand to hold another weapon or grapple your opponent. It also means you can't drop it accidentally. That's why gladiators had their bucklers strapped to their forearms rather than had held.

The shield parts on both hands. And there is two seperate bases for both hands, so the axe can go on both for sure.

Do you plan to mold these in translucent color? That'd be sick.

The blade will be molded in clear plastic. Then dyed or airbrushed with a clear yellow and orange acrylic paint to give it a cool effect. An LED would definitely rock! Not sure if there is space in there for all the parts though.

Dyed would probably work just as well.
Customizers could probably just remove Prime's fist itself on the axe arm to fit the necessary electronics inside.

Yeah, that would be cool idea. Removing the fist isn't hard, and you could store the battery compartment in the arm.
